Why do I need an external antenna?

Turbo Hub data service is only available within NorthernTel's HSPA wireless network coverage area.

At times, you may experience low signal strength due to:

• obstacles such as trees, mountains, tall buildings, etc.
• location just outside the main coverage area

In these cases, an external antenna can boost the signal strength on your Turbo Hub. You can purchase and install an antenna yourself, or you can get professional installation from an authorized antenna installer or dealer.

NorthernTel does not sell or install external antennas. However, you can purchase an external antenna at one of our authorized dealers or find an authorized installer and purchase products by calling Crossover Distribution at 1 866 616-5111. You can also visit their website for more information.
