Topping up your prepaid digital cell phone account
For uninterrupted access to your phone service and features, it is important to keep your account active. If the amount owing on your account is $0 for 120 days or more, your service will be disconnected. A reactivation fee will be required and your phone number will need to be changed.

Topping up your account methods
Our various methods of topping up your account are convenient for even the busiest of people.
  1. Prepaid Cards

    Prepaid cards can be bought at a NorthernTel Mobility
    authorized dealer. To top-up your airtime, follow the steps indicated on the prepaid cards.

    Note: If you top-up your account before your funds run out, your minutes left over will be automatically brought forward.
      

  2. Automatic Top-Up Program

    Subscribe to our Automatic Top-Up Program and receive the message centre feature, FREE!

     
    The Automatic Top-Up Program adds $25 or $50 to your account when the balance drops to under $5 or your funds expire (after 60 days). This amount is withdrawn from your credit card or bank account.
     
    A bit of advice: To conserve your unused funds, top up your account yourself before your funds expire.
     
    To subscribe to the Automatic Top-Up Program, visit a NorthernTel Mobility authorized dealer in order to complete an authorization form.
      
  3. Automatic Bank Machine

    At participating CIBC Bank Machines in Quebec and Ontario, simply insert any bank debit card and follow on-screen instructions. Because this service is offered in collaboration with Bell Mobility, choose “Bell Mobility” when the system requests the name of your service provider.

    Your 12-digit prepaid service code will be printed on the receipt. Don’t lose your receipt! You will need this code when you dial #321 on your cell phone to add funds to your account.

To check the balance and expiry date of your prepaid digital cellular service dial, toll free any time, #321 on your cell phone or contact our Customer Service Department.
